The Foedus Foundation's objective is to promote the diffusion and the appreciation of Italian Art of the 18th and 19th Centuries through a series of exhibitions in Italy and overseas. Particular attention will be dedicated to the works of many talented artists whose masterpieces animated this intense and flourishing time of Italian art.One of the main goals of the Foedus Foundation is to give opportunities to young talent and to promote the various aspects of Contemporary Italian Art and Music

In 2006, Foedus Foundation was selected by the “Consulta Nazionale dei Comitati Nazionali e delle Edizioni Nazionali” to serve as Planning Committee for the bicentennial of the birth of Italian 19th Century painter Giacinto Gigante. Several cultural exhibitions, concerts and conferences are in the works for the period September 2006 - April 2008.
